FOR ALL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS APPLYING FOR AVAILABLE FUNDING
Before a non-profit agency is eligible to apply for available social services funding within this system, it must first demonstrate meeting and adhering to minimal, non-profit organizational standards and practices. This minimum threshold checklist is used to ensure City-managed funds, once awarded, are spent wisely, and that such non-profit entities provide adequate governance, in accordance with its by-laws, implemented policies, practices, and procedures ensuring accountability/safeguards for those serving and being served.
Each applicant for available social services related funding must therefore maintain a valid, approved minimum threshold application on file with APH. To submit a checklist for APH consideration, see PartnerGrants Applying for an APH Funded Opportunity Part I Threshold for details.
When assigning a title to your Agency's Minimum Threshold Checklist, name it in the following manner:
"[Your Organization's Name] - Agency Threshold Checklist - [Primary Contact's Initials] ",
So when finished looks something like "Helpful Organization - Agency Threshold Checklist - JDS. "
For organizational documentation necessary to submit your checklist, see attached Agency Threshold Checklist Example.
If Approved:
An auto notification email will be sent to the threshold's Primary Contact subject entitled 'Project Awarded' with Program Area 'Agency Information' in message narrative. Your organization is asked to save/hold on to this message. APH thresholds are valid for one year from issuance date of the notification. During the next twelve months, organizations may apply for any posted funded opportunity WITHOUT having to resubmit all the requisite threshold organizational documents every time it wants to apply for other funding - SAVING TIME, EFFORT, and ALLOWING YOUR NON-PROFIT TO FOCUS on programmatic elements of each application(s).
Prior to each twelve-month interval elapsing, your non profit organization must then recreate and submit a new, updated Agency Minimum Threshold Checklist again here. And if re-approved, remain eligible for consideration when applying against future posted funded opportunities.
If Disapproved:
Your organization is not permitted to apply for available funding within this system, until reasons for disapproval are resolved.
Once your non-profit organization is able to demonstrate compliance to minimum threshold criteria, it may submit a new Threshold again at any time.
